Hi George I just wanted to get some advice if I may, I am currently looking into creating my first blog and am very eager to encourage peoples comments by rewarding them with a backlink but am concerned that I might recieve a lot of spam, would you suggest that I use a CAPTCHA code I dont really know too much about this but have read some info on the internet and it seems the CAPTCHA is a must. I can see you do not use it do you think not to bother?
Hi Mike, I wouldn’t worry about spam too much. Just make your comment settings so that you can check all the comments before approving them. And make sure you have the add on Askimet activated, which helps to keep spam out.
